Carlana Hembree, Veterinary Technician
Carly has been working at Matthew’s Veterinary Hospital since July 2019. She is a 2020 graduate of Penn Foster High School. She has four pets of her own, 6 year old schnoodle Si, 1 year old beagle Cash, 1 year old english springer spaniel Sailor, and 3 month old rescue kitten Annie. When not at work, Carly enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out with her older brother, kayaking, taking her dogs fishing and fostering kittens. She enjoys her job because she loves helping animals and learning new things. Carly looks forward to meeting you next time you stop by Matthew’s Veterinary Hospital!
Hayley Sifuentes, Receptionist
Hayley was welcomed to our team as a bilingual receptionist at the end of April 2020. She thoroughly enjoys being able to assist others, whether it be with understanding their bill, translating, or giving their pet(s) a little extra love. Hayley has a deep understanding and respect for business, as she grew up in her father's business. When Hayley isn't at work, she loves fishing, long-boarding, and baking for her family and friends. Not only does she love to bake for any celebration, but she also enjoys to plan and decorate! She has two family pets, a Shih-tzu named Roy and a three legged German Shepard named Benji. Hayley is always eager to learn new things, especially from the doctors and her coworkers! Say hi to Hayley next time you stop in!
Rick Alvarez, Kennel Technician
In March of 2016, Rick began as a Kennel Assistant and soon after became Kennel Supervisor. Rick moved to Moultrie, GA from Chicago, IL, where he was born and raised. He has great work ethic and enjoys his job here at Matthews Veterinary Hospital. He is a great team player and is willing to to help out wherever he is needed in the Hospital. His strength is essential when lifting some of the heavier of pets that come in. He takes care of the pets in the kennel facility as if they were his own. Rick loves all the animals but he is partial to the felines.
